Please read these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (“Terms”) before using the mobile application My Rail Yatra (“App”) and related services provided by WebSure Technologies Private Limited (“WebSure”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1) Disclaimer – No Government Affiliation

My Rail Yatra is a privately developed and maintained application. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or representing any government entity, including Indian Railways, IRCTC, CRIS, or any other public authority.

The App provides train-related information for public convenience. Information shown may be obtained from public sources and/or third-party service providers and may not always be accurate, complete, or current. Users must verify critical information on official sources.

2) Use of Information (Accuracy & Liability)

Train timings, schedules, running status, seat availability, PNR status, platform/coach information, and related data may change frequently. While we try to present information as received from our sources, we do not guarantee accuracy, availability, or reliability.

You agree that:

  • The App is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

  • WebSure is not responsible for any loss, damage, inconvenience, or missed travel plans caused by reliance on information shown in the App.

  • You will cross-verify important details using official sources listed above.

3) Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for unlawful purposes.

  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or bypass security of the App or our systems.

  • Misrepresent the App as an official government service.

4) Privacy Policy

Depending on features you use, we may collect:

A) Location information (if you allow permission)

  • Approximate or precise location (GPS), and/or cell tower information
    Used for features like train spotting, location-based services, and alarms.

B) Device & technical information

  • Device model, OS version, app version, device identifiers (such as Advertising ID where applicable), network information, crash logs, and diagnostics.

C) User inputs (when you provide them)

  • Train number, station selections, journey date, and PNR number (if you enter it), and other feature inputs.

Note: We use your inputs to fetch and display results. We do not claim ownership of your inputs.

4.2 How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide app functionality (live status, PNR, seat availability, schedules, alarms).

  • Improve stability and performance (crash diagnostics, debugging).

  • Prevent fraud/abuse and maintain security.

  • Provide ads (if ads are enabled in the App), where applicable.

4.3 Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with:

  • Service providers who help operate the App (analytics, crash reporting, ads, hosting, network services).

  • Authorities if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.

4.4 Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for:

  • Providing services,

  • Legal/compliance requirements,

  • Security and fraud prevention,

  • Improving the App.

4.5 User Controls

  • You can deny or revoke location permission anytime from your device settings.

  • You may clear app cache/data from device settings.

  • If your app includes account features, provide a support contact to request deletion (add your support email if applicable).

5) Information Security

We use reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6) Third-Party Links and Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites (including official sources). We are not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or availability.
